Clocks in five Australian states move back one hour on April 5

Clocks in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and the ACT will move back one hour on Sunday, April 5, as daylight saving time ends. The change will occur at 3am AEDT, reverting to 2am and marking the transition towards winter. Daylight saving will resume on October 4, 2026.
