Light aircraft crashes into field in NSW Illawarra region

A 53-year-old pilot escaped uninjured after his light aircraft crashed into a field at Albion Park Rail, New South Wales, on Good Friday. Emergency services responded around 8:30am to the incident, which occurred about 80 kilometres south of Sydney. Investigations into the crash are ongoing, with the Australian Transport Safety Bureau contacted for further comment.
