Man accused of ramming Brisbane Synagogue gate appears in court
Matthew Alexander Donald De Campo appeared in Brisbane Supreme Court Friday on charges of ramming a synagogue gate with a Toyota HiLux on February 20. The 32-year-old Sunnybank man faces wilful damage and hate crime charges but pleaded not guilty. Justice Soraya Ryan refused bail, ordering a psychiatric assessment to evaluate whether treatment could reduce risks from drug-induced psychosis.
