Child in critical condition after being pulled from water

A primary school-aged girl is in critical condition after being pulled from the water on the Gold Coast on Friday afternoon. Queensland Ambulance Service teams responded to the near-drowning incident at Marine Parade, with five ambulances dispatched. At the same time, paramedics treated a woman in her 20s for marine envenomation nearby.
