LECC clears former NSW Police commissioner of misconduct over gin purchase

The Law Enforcement Conduct Commission cleared former NSW Police commissioner Karen Webb of serious misconduct related to the purchase of 50 bottles of gin from a friend’s distillery. Although she failed to disclose her friendship with the supplier, the investigation found no evidence of a conflict of interest. NSW Police will consider the LECC's recommendations for a new gift policy.
