Roberts-Smith sat impassively as judge revealed ‘exceptional circumstances’ to release him
Alleged war criminal Ben Roberts-Smith was granted bail on exceptional circumstances by Judge Greg Grogin at the Sydney Downing Centre Local Court on Friday. Roberts-Smith, charged with five counts of war crime, had been in custody for 10 days. His father will front a $250,000 surety to secure his release.
