Man breaks ankle tumbling into Scarborough’s Snake Pit skatepark
A 39-year-old man suffered a broken ankle after falling several metres into Scarborough’s Snake Pit skatepark bowl just before midnight on Sunday. Emergency services took more than an hour to rescue him using a pulley system. Witnesses noted he was not skateboarding at the time and could have faced more severe injuries.
