Queensland yet to buy devices for e-bike compliance testing as crackdown looms
Queensland will implement new restrictions for e-bikes and e-scooters by July 1, but it has yet to procure compliance testing devices. Transport Department deputy director-general Andrew Mahon stated that the rollout will include speed limits and a crackdown on illegal devices. A report on the bill is expected from the committee by May 8.
