Man to face court from bedside after police shooting north of Brisbane

A 19-year-old man shot by police during a welfare check in Arana Hills will face court from his hospital bed after being charged with four counts of assault. He was shot twice in the abdomen after allegedly wielding a kitchen knife. The shooting is under investigation by the Ethical Standards Command and the Crime and Corruption Commission.
