Man to face court from bedside after police shooting north of Brisbane

A 19-year-old man shot by police during a welfare check in Arana Hills last week now faces court from his hospital bed, charged with four counts of assault. He was shot twice after allegedly pulling a kitchen knife on officers. The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the incident with oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
