Alex de Minaur defeated Cameron Norrie 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Monte Carlo Masters on Tuesday. De Minaur, the number five seed, is the last Australian in the singles draw after Alexei Popyrin lost to ninth seed Casper Ruud. He will face either Flavio Cobolli or Alexander Blockx.
