Handwritten church music 'caked in dust' performed after 50 years
Point Pass Immanuel Lutheran Church in South Australia celebrated its 150th anniversary by performing rediscovered handwritten sheet music, last played over 50 years ago. Historian Sam Doering uncovered the music in a dusty chest while researching the church's history. The Tanunda Liedertafel choir performed two hymns, reviving a choral tradition significant to the area's German settlers.
