Thistlethwaite warns economic, fuel shocks from Middle East war will persist

The federal government's temporary fuel tax reduction has recently lowered petrol prices by about 30 cents per litre amid ongoing monitoring of fuel retailers in New South Wales and Western Australia to address shortages.
