Property play: Woolies extends warehouse lease derailing billionaire’s $155m deal

Billionaire Harry Stamoulis’ $155 million sale of a Woolworths distribution center in Mulgrave has stalled after Woolworths chose to exercise its lease option. The distribution center, covering 68,144 square meters, was to be redeveloped into a logistics center by Elanor Investors Group and PGIM Real Estate. Woolworths holds multiple five-year extension options on the lease.
