Family 'empty and shocked' after surfer's death over $50 dispute

Jayson Brett Dal Molin pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 59-year-old surfer Guy Haymes following a dispute over $50 in Manly on February 27, 2024. Haymes died 15 days later after being fatally assaulted. The sentencing hearing was adjourned due to technical difficulties and is set to resume on April 13.
