Sha’Carri Richardson triumphs in Stawell Gift women’s final

Sha’Carri Richardson won the Stawell Gift women's final on Monday, triumphing despite a nine-metre head start. The Olympic and world champion finished the race in 13.15 seconds, becoming only the third woman to win the $40,000 prize from scratch. Her partner, Christian Coleman, was eliminated in the semi-finals after failing to catch Grady Woods.
