Iraq qualifies for World Cup for first time in 40 years

Iraq's national football team secured a spot in the World Cup after defeating Bolivia 2-1 in a playoff on Tuesday, marking their first qualification in 40 years. Striker Aymen Hussein, who lost family to violence, scored the winning goal. Iraq will begin their Group I campaign against Norway in Boston on June 16.
