Paddleboarder rescues woman attacked by great white shark at Coogee Beach
Charlie Verco, 24, rescued a woman attacked by a great white shark off Coogee Beach during his paddleboard training on Saturday. Verco managed to reach her after the shark released her, and he towed her to safety as lifeguards and medical personnel arrived. The woman is currently in critical condition at St Vincent’s Hospital.
