Probe into ‘horrific’ Parafield training flight crash hindered by extensive fire damage
A student pilot and instructor died when their Diamond DA-42 twin-engine plane crashed into a hangar at Adelaide's Parafield Airport on Wednesday shortly after takeoff. The aircraft veered sharply left and completed a 180-degree turn before impacting the building and sparking a fire that destroyed multiple aircraft. Investigators say extensive fire damage will complicate determining the crash's cause.
