Sisters of officer killed by Dezi Freeman to sue Victoria Police

Sisters of slain officer Neal Thompson plan to sue Victoria Police over his fatal shooting by Dezi Freeman on August 26, 2022. They allege failure to deploy specialist forces during a search warrant led to their brother's death. The sisters expressed feeling abandoned by the police in a letter to Chief Commissioner Mike Bush last December.
