Steve Bannon appears likely to have criminal conviction dismissed

The US Supreme Court on Monday signaled it may dismiss Steve Bannon's criminal conviction for contempt of Congress. Bannon, an ally of Donald Trump, contended he was following legal advice during his refusal to testify. Although he served four months in prison, an overturned conviction would mark a symbolic victory for Bannon.
