Volunteer numbers strong in WA despite cost of living crisis

Despite the ongoing cost of living crisis, 1.5 million people in Western Australia continue to volunteer. Volunteering WA chief executive Tina Williams noted an increase in informal volunteering, driven by social media. The WA Volunteer of the Year Awards will recognize outstanding contributions on May 14, leading up to National Volunteer.
