The WA Museum exhibition taking a deep dive into the unknown

Western Australian Museum scientists have documented over 500 new marine species during deep-sea expeditions over the last 20 years. The OceanXperience exhibition, opening April 4, will showcase their discoveries, including the glass scallops found near Perth Canyon. Director Dr Jennifer McIlwain emphasized that taxonomy work is essential for understanding biodiversity and naming new species.
