Labor targets NDIS growth to save budget as costs escalate

Labor plans to reduce the growth of the $50 billion National Disability Insurance Scheme as part of its budget savings strategy. Health Minister Mark Butler stated the scheme, currently projected to cost $100 billion by the next decade, is off track and needs significant reforms ahead of the budget next month.
