A 21-year-old man has been seriously injured after four masked intruders armed with machetes and a firearm smashed their way into his home in Sydney’s west. The violent home invasion unfolded on Fairmount St, Merrylands, when the offenders broke into the property and partially severed the victim’s thumb during the attack.
