Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy will continue through the 2026 NRL season despite being diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disorder, football director Frank Ponissi confirmed Friday. Bellamy skipped the post-game press conference following the team's seventh-straight loss to the Dolphins but showed full commitment during coaching, Ponissi said. The 22-year Storm mentor signed a contract extension through 2028 in February.
