Nik Cox returns to AFL after 630 days sidelined by serious concussion
Essendon midfielder Nik Cox has been named to play his first AFL game in 630 days after recovering from a serious concussion that nearly ended his career. The 24-year-old last played in August 2024 before being ruled out by the AFL's concussion panel. Cox will line up against reigning premiers Brisbane at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
