China Box Office: ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Launches to Top Spot

Universal’s ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ debuted at the top of the China box office, earning RMB57.1 million ($8.3 million) during the April 3–5 weekend. In second place, China Film’s drama ‘It’s OK’ grossed $6.1 million for a cumulative total of $9.9 million. The overall weekend grosses in Mainland China reached $39.5 million.
