Ex-MLB Star Garret Anderson Dead At 53
Garret Anderson, the former Angels star and franchise all-time hits leader, died at 53 on Thursday following a medical emergency at his Newport Beach home. Anderson played for the Angels from 1994 to 2008, making three All-Star teams and winning a World Series in 2002. He was inducted into the Angels Hall of Fame in 2016.
