Queensland farmer Clive Weier, 89, recovers after severe auger accident
Queensland farmer Clive Weier, 89, survived a gruesome auger accident on March 30 that severed his right arm. Neighbour Graham Terry applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, saving Weier's life before he was airlifted to hospital. Weier has since recovered and urges others in regional areas to learn basic trauma skills to improve emergency response.
