Deloitte warns nearly one million Australians could lose jobs from oil price
Nearly one million Australians may lose their jobs if crude oil prices rise to $US150 per barrel, according to Deloitte Access Economics. In a worst-case scenario of $US175 per barrel, unemployment could exceed 6.8 percent and inflation reach 7.5 percent, severely impacting the manufacturing and tourism sectors.
