Eddie Nketia sets Australian 100m record of 9.84 seconds at Mt SAC
Eddie Nketia set a new Australian all-conditions 100m record of 9.84 seconds at the Mt SAC Relays in California. His time, which surpassed Patrick Johnson's 2003 record of 9.93 seconds, will not count due to an illegal tailwind of 2.3 metres per second. Nketia, who switched allegiance from New Zealand in December, aims for future national records.
