New data reveals Queensland’s cost-of-living pain from fuel crisis
The number of Queenslanders seeking help with energy bills doubled in the past year amid the ongoing fuel crisis. New data shows those on hardship payment plans rose from 18,500 to over 37,000. Treasurer David Janetzki has blamed the previous Labor government while forecasting a 10 percent decrease in power bills.
