Mazzorbo island showcases rare dorona vineyard to curious visitors

The Venetian island of Mazzorbo, often overlooked by tourists, welcomed a few curious visitors this week. Wine ambassador Luca Carnevali highlighted the island's unique vineyard, Venissa, which produces only 4,500 bottles annually. The vineyard’s grapes, dorona, are a rare treasure recently revived after nearly being lost to 1966 floods.
