Rail network loses 273 services, commuters warned of slower, crowded trains

South-east Queensland's rail network will operate 273 fewer services from Tuesday amid a wage dispute between unions and the state government. Transport Minister Brent Mickelberg warned commuters to expect delayed, slower and crowded trains as seven unions continue rejecting contract offers. Union representatives will meet Queensland Rail again on May 7.
