Another United States A-10 Warthog crashed in the Persian Gulf during ongoing hostilities with Iran on Friday. The pilot was safely rescued after the aircraft went down near the Strait of Hormuz, coinciding with the earlier shooting down of an F-15E. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
