Sha’Carri Richardson triumphs in Stawell Gift women’s final

Sha’Carri Richardson won the Stawell Gift women’s final on Monday, overcoming a nine-metre head start to secure victory in 13.15 seconds. The American became only the third woman to win the $40,000 prize from scratch. Her partner Christian Coleman was eliminated in the semi-finals after finishing behind Grady Woods, who won that heat in 12.32 seconds.
