Revealed: The Sydney suburbs with the most and fewest EVs
Data from April 2026 shows the City of Sydney has the highest ratio of electric vehicles, with 21.6 percent of its 96,698 registered cars being EVs. While eastern suburbs lead in EV uptake, western Sydney's Blacktown and Canterbury-Bankstown have the highest number of registered EVs, at 24,972 and 20,461, respectively.
